I just wanna know what I just consumed earlier today. I was really hungry after working out so we grabbed some Quiznos. I got a Smoked Turkey on wheat. I was curious about the calories and such so I could put it in FitDay. :o
I can't find the info anyways. Fuck Quiznos. :o

They don't post their information... but from I overheard a former employee say the regular sized subs average over 1,000 calories. The special subs that they advertise are pushing 1,200... and thats not even a large.

it all depends on what you get...hold the mayo/sauce/sour cream/ whatever and you'll save a lot there. Cheese has a lot of calories. Just be sensible about it. You could probably ballpark most of the stuff.

quiznos is good but lately they've been pissing me off. the last time i went there i was meeting a friend for lunch and i got there and all the doors were locked, so i knock on the door and a customer lets me in. ok, thats kind of weird, but whatever. so i get in there and the one employee is like "it's slow guys, i'm the only one here" wtf? it's 12:30?? customer at register is paying and I overhear the guy say "sorry, no change whatsoever."

that was a week ago and I'm going not back. what a piss poor run quiznos.

I drove by with my friend after going and getting gandolfos instead and there was a handwritten sign on the door that said "we're closed" and there was a bunch of people trying to get in. it was only 1 pm.

I am not too crazy about these sandwich places. In my experience, most of their sandwiches are high in cals, high in carbs, and moderate in protein at best with insane sodium numbers.

But as far as Quizno's goes, it my understanding that they have a few low cal/low fat sandwiches, but a majority of them hang around the 1,000 cal marks with everything on them.

its the kind of place where if you need to ask, you shouldn't be eating there in the first place.

Hell just watching their commercials adds about 5 lbs :yum:

Kind of like Outback. They flat out REFUSE to give any nutrition info on the stuff they have there. My friends husband is a manger at one and he said that internal memos have the AVERAGE cal amount on a KIDS meal at over 1500... WTF... Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is soaked and cooked in butter. Tastes good as hell of course but yikes...I think we figured out that a 7oz steak with potato and broccoli, the way they prepeare it....comes in at 1950 cals... go go bulk-mania hehe

    My gf works at one.

Stay away from the Bloomin' Onion. Apparently it's one of the worst things you can get at any chain restaurant as far as calories/fat are concerned.
