You don't really have 4 load cycles. That is the number of times you have charged it and run it down basically. Apple claims 300-400 times for a battery. That number isn't always correctly shown in coconutBattery. Right now it claims my battery in a 2 year old MacBook Pro only has 5 load cycles. More like 300-400 easy. I get about an hour or less out of it.

you can check the actual amount of load cycles by going to System Profiler and it's under Power.

Took my MBP to the apple store today, of course they didn't have any replacement batteries in stock ( :ugh: ) and the guy wanted to keep my old battery while they order a new one for $110. So I went ahead and took the deal and now I guess I just have to be careful not to bump the power cord out while it is on and batteryless.

In retrospect maybe I should have picked up an aftermarket battery from fastmac.com, it's a little cheaper and slightly higher capacity. Maybe I will do that when my new battery goes to shit after a year.

calibrate your battery monthly. Mine still has a 95% charge after almost a year.
