WTF kinda bullshit is this.

    so the 24 hour fitness i got to used to have dumbells up to 150. so some twat broke 1 of the 150s.. so now im stuck with 140s for incline. the same tool broke the 130s.. so now we have 105.. 120.. 140. So i asked the gym today when they would replace the 150s because the 140s are getting way to light for incline.. Official 24 hour fitness answer? "WE wont.. 125 is the heaviest dumbell we will have.. if the 140s break then you are out of luck.

    WTF??? How do they cater for ppl who actually want to lift?

    i do..
    IE today .. i did bench 135x12 , 135x12 225x12, 315x12 then 405x7 405x7 465x4 ( i know. not so hot. but its week 7 back from 7 months off after hurting my shoulder)...
    then moved to incline.. hit 3 sets of 8-12 with the 140s..

    :(

    switch to incline fly's then and use the same weight ;)

    i agree! the idiot who broke them was trying to bench them. realised they where to heavy and just tossed them. I make it a POINT to bring them down onto my legs before putting them back onto the ground

    No its not. Buy the dumbbell handle somewhere online and just fix it yourself and leave it at the gym. Seriously cant cost that much. Then the next time you see someone misusing them you can tell them whats up.

    I really dont understand why gyms are such bitches about equipment that is so relatively cheap. Jesus.

    umm. im lost.. Multiple ppl here know that in dec i was repping 505 on flat bench.. just because you are some punk bitch who thinks 225 on the bench is heavy.. and your post count doesnt help you pick up weight. you should shut your pie hole.

    whats up jeremy :) i actually cleaned up my diet.. started some cardio and am actively trying to lose weight.. im tired of carrying around 300+ lbs on my frame.

    wow. thanks for the warm welcome guys:) due to an illness in the family and me hurting my shoulder last nov.. i pretty much lost all motivation and didnt lift for about 7 months.. but im back at it.. and determined to drop to about 260ish.. my ultimate goals is repping 505@ 260ish..
