WTF is wrong with my computer?

    I get this everytime I try to startup XP, everything works fine afterwards, but WTF?

    I would say you have or had a virus.

    Run Regedit
    Hkey_local_Machine/software/microsoft/windows nt/current version/winlogon

    Delete windows\system32\system32.exe

    Leave Explorer Exe. and reboot.

    i used to get that all the time.. it was after i realised that i had disabled autoprotect :ugh: and i had a virus happily feasting on my installs folders :hahano:

    hopefully the reg editing works for you, i just dealt with it for a while.. then made a short cut to msn messenger, called it that filename, and put it there, got rid of the error till i reformated and reinstalled:fawk:
