what ever happened to movies of substance?
when will the next Apocalypse now, Fightclub, come out?
why dont people translate Chuck Palaniuk books into intelligent, witty movies worth paying to see?
Hollywood seems to be turning into Jive Records. the fuck

This has always been the case...you have to play to the masses to make money sometimes. Never underestimate the power of human stupidity....

And there are movies of substance out there...Monster, The Cooler, House of Sand and Fog (though not necessarily my type of movie) just to name a few out now. Unfortunately you might have to search for them sometimes...

Oh yeah...and not all Palahniuk books can necessarily transfer to film...like Vonnegut it's hard to get proper representation on the screen...:hs:
