WtF is this?

    There's a program running called Wwuhcn.exe... what the fuck is it? and why is it running?

    i googled and couldn't find anything... thanks!

    oh yeah, it's in the System32 folder

    I've never heard of it, but that doesn't mean its not legit. Get its properties and see if anything useful turns up. Or rename it in safe mode and see if anything breaks. Also, search the registry for it and see if you get any clues.

    damn. that doesn't come up in ANY searches I did.. hmmm odd.. Let us know once you find out..

    The only other thing I can think of is to run hijack this and paste your log file into http://hijackthis.de and see what it says for that process.

    It's still just chillin' there... have NO idea what it is... in the properties it says that it was created like last week :ugh: so i don't know what to do

    do you have an antivirus program? if not get one of the free ones, there's a sticky about spyware that has some information about antivirus.

    There are a few viruses that like to make executable names on the fly, not very good for the end user who wants to know what specific virus they have.

    i have symantec anti-virus corporate edition... it found a virus, and i removed it, but i wonder if i should just delete this from the folder it's in... do you think it changed anything else on my comp?

    I would try moving it first, and see what happens after a restart.
