I don't really get your complaint. They told you 7 days, if they ship on day 7 they have fulfilled their promise 100%.

I get paid every Friday. If I went into work on Monday demanding my paycheck, I'd be crazy.

If it's in stock, I don't see any reason why it would take 7 days to ship a gun. :dunno:

generally businesses allow multiple orders to come in... so its not like your order is the only thing they have to do. If it was, sure your gun would ship same/next business day.... but there were people before you, so naturally there may be a little wait for them to get to you.

    Thank you, I realize that.

A gun company the size/reputation of Bud's should have a pretty good shipping department. I still think if a gun is in stock, it shouldn't take that long to ship.

I bought a gun from CDNN, it shipped the following day. I'd say CDNN moves quite a bit of product. :dunno:

That's your standard response for everything, isn't it...?

How many of your sales are even done online? Not much, I'd wager.

buds gives a pretty decent discount over other sellers. if you wanted instant service, you should have bought at a physical gun store. you wanted to save money, so this is the price you pay.

He's whining because it's taking the amount of time to ship the gun that they say it would.

And we do about $50-60K in online sales per quarter.

I was asking whether or not it usually takes the 7 days they state. I was under the assumption that with Bud's selling as many guns as they do that it wouldn't/shouldn't take the full 7 days.

dell sells thousands of computers per day, the more shit you have to ship the more efficient you have to become.

right, but do you think they'd be able to move all those computers in a day? no.

they give themselves lead time to play catch up if they need to.

In todays culture we want everything immediately. It sucks but if they say 7 days they probably more incline to ship on the 7th day than the next day (day2).

I try to buy from local vendors whenever possible. I know how hard it is to run a gun bussiness in CA. I also like to see the gun in person and check the lock up. To me that is worth at least $100 though it usually is not nowhere near that big of a price difference.
