It's not quite my elbow but here's an idea of where. Put your finger on the very tip of your elbow (the part towards the inside of your arm) then move back an inch - inch and a half. It's like right where the bone ends.

Anyway, when ever I do skull crushers i have this dull pain in my elbows. I didn't used to and it didn't even used to be both. It also seems to go away after I warm up though sometimes it persists for a short time.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this or how to make it stop?

I thought I was the only one! On my left elbow, right where you can feel the bone, there's like a tendon or something that goes over the bone, and when you move your arm up and down, you can feel it. My right arm doesn't have that. I have no idea what it is, or how to fix it.

try doing a couple of sets of light warm ups and follow it up by stretching your forearms.. see if that helps

    Better warmups helped me

Also, using lighter weight and sticking in the 10-12 rep range

Heavy weight for low reps was a recipe for elbow pain

I had this when I was younger, turned out to be tendonitis...I agree with the others on warming up more. To this day I still feel it and know when I have to stop.

Pretty much all extension movements rape my elbows. Nothing much to do but lots of warmup, ice, nsaids, and staying away from the movements that aggravate the joint the worst.

Try doing them on a decline bench, it should help.

Well when you think about it, they are all isolation exercises and a huge amount of force is going through that single elbow joint because it's the only pivot point.

That's why low weight and high reps is better. I wouldn't ever try to do 3 reps of heavy weight.. I think that's just asking for problems
