I mean goddamn, unless you're an amputee or some shit there is no fucking reason to be a fat slob in any military. And the quality of soldiers coming out of basic doesn't help. I wish we could chapter people out for this shit....That is all

You can, at least in the Army. (AR 140-10 para 4-16) and (135-178, chap 9, para 9-2e). The only thing is, they will most likely transfer one to the IRR under the mobilization assest program.

What pisses me off the most is that I've been on profile for over a year. I actually have a tear in one of the ligaments in my knee, the shit is gone, and I can do PT better than have my company.

Shit is fucking ridiculous. I'm no PT stud but how can anyone have any pride if they don't even take pride in themselves?

OMG, that's exactly what I do, well, except for the fatty part.
I actually do eat healthy. Anyway, I still do good at PT and I seem to constantly be on profiles for some b/s reason or another.

I am on profile for pulling my achilles tendon. I hate it because I want to run, but I can't. The nice thing is that I get to go to the gym in the mornings instead of squadron PT.

Sometimes I wish I could still run, just not in formation.
Everytime I run in formation, they always love to run around and pick me up, since I can't run that far, so I just quit.

Its takes a lot of effort and sham-skills to stay out of shape when you PT everyday. I mean you really have to concentrate on eating and working those profiles. It seems many have mastered this. Its pathetic.

Hell, I work rotating shifts, rarely do PT other than when on day shift, and I still pass mine.

It takes forever it seems to kick people out who are overweight. We have a piece of shit in our unit who did not pass a PT test for over the first 2 years of his Army career. One day the PT test run route magically changes, and he passes...

All of the sudden he gets promoted and thinks he is the shit...

    FTA

There are also guys though who have been hurt and hospitalized for a long time, they balloon, have a hell of a time getting back in shape, but are excellent soldiers. It is sad to see them get shit on.

And I understand that. But the fuckers that are just too lazy to do anything or eat a salad instead of the Double Whopper at lunch just pisses me off.

It doesn't take much to be in good shape.

And it doesn't help matters any when they still get promoted.

If you can't keep up in a run that is going at slightly over walking pace you suck at life.
