    there are devices. I've used multiple gyro's to stablize a camera on a boat and in a helicoptor.

    You need at least two chicken brains. One for the X axis and one for the Y axis.

    From the engineering side of things, that's not an easy thing to do and would be extremely expensive, more especially when trying to remove smaller motions, and that's for a rigid body, with the camera being attached to your hands, I don't see anything like this ever being practical.

    A Stedicam is the closest thing to a chicken head. Gyro mounts come pretty close though.

    technically, the brain isn't keeping it steady, the muscles are.

    so, you'd only need one chicken brain, and attach it to a tripod (along with the heart, lungs, etc).

    might just be easier to screw a tripod mount stud to the top of a chickens head, though
