Not saying it was surprising, but it made me . And to be honest, Serra is talking more shit, but Matt hughes pisses me off every time I watch the show.

You know, it wasn't that bad, he said it was an interesting story, he didn't neccessarily push his religion on any of them.

i read the book of job in school, and no one pissed and moaned about how someone was pushing their religion on us. there are plenty of interesting stories, plenty to really learn from the bible.

Okay, lame argument imo. It may be "just a story" but I doubt we're witnessing Matt Hughes' story time at the Gym. He is proselytizing without a doubt.

Studying religion in school for a class is different, I'd read the Torah, Bible, Koran, and the Vedas in a class to learn. But if I'm training and a guy who practices the religion starts having me read passages and answer questions like I'm back in Sunday school comes in? I don't really care what it is, I'm not gonna be keen on it.

Like I said, its not the worst in the world, but it makes me more interested in the season of fights and fighters.

wasn't that big of a deal, i'm a born again jesus lover and i've read about 1/3 of the Qur'an (not koran)(didn't convert me to islam), so reading 1 very very short story in the bible isn't a big deal. especially when he went out of his way it seemed to not get preachy about it, he seemed to be wanting to point out that he was a giving person (yeah he's egotistical as hell, not a news flash) more than spreading the word.

if ya want to talk about charachter flaws, how about serra talking shit about his team members and then backing down like when he was gonna kick the guy off the show then went to the house and practically made out with the dude

eh... I'm religious but I don't think he should have pushed it so much on the show. It definitely made things uncomfortable and awkward amongst the team.

Preaching Christianity is still preaching Christianity, even if you're going Old Testament on their asses.
