With all of the people upgrading to MBP's and such...If anyone has an old firewire iSight sitting around collecting dust, I'd be interested.

Leave a message here, or PM me.

"old" and "unused" don't really go together...

old, in the sense that they no longer sell them "new" and unused should be more accurately termed "unabused."

it seems as if this is one item you'd buy, think it's really cool...and then it just sits there. I should have bought one a long time ago, but ya live and learn, I guess. :hs:

    sorry for the confusion.

    Tell me about it. :wtc:

My onboard audio crapped out on me a long time ago with my dual500 G4. I bought a Griffin iMic to remedy that, and now that seems to be not working either. :hs:

by the way, can someone explain why people are willing to pay so much for these things? it's not like the billion other cheaper USB cameras out there aren't supported by OS X / iChat :dunno: get a $10 mic + that and call it a day, eh?

Actually my ACD went under for 700...less than I expected. Reason why they go so high is because its been discontiued.

For the OP, does it has to be Apple webcam? Logitech sells great ones that also compatible with OSX.

If you're selling, you'd get more from ebay, than from me, it seems. :hsd: How much are you looking at?

The only time apple displays are price-competitive is when a bigger one gets released. after that they keep the price floated as competitors catch up and cut prices :hs:

I remember when the 30" first came out it was actually a few hundred dollars cheaper than the dell 30", and better quality (so said the reviews). After that though, prices came down and apple's didnt :o
