I might have one lying around if you can find the barrel I've been looking for for less than $275

I've got one plus the taper pins. I hammered the shit out of it though. It should be F-marked, how can you tell? I can give it to you for like $20 shipped. It was off a Stag 2HT Upper.

i'm not looking to pay much, honestly. id be glad to throw in a few bucks plus shipping or whatever. that's why i asked for people that took them off and put on flip sights or low-pro gas blocks because they will probably never be used again. :dunno:

    no biggie if not.

You don't actually need F-marked FSBs...the post will just protrude slightly above the ears (not a huge deal).

What's so special about the "F" mark? Yes, I am a noob, I know.

  14. It moves the front sight post up just a tiny amount so it lines up with the iron sights on an A3 receiver. The non-F FSB is designed to work with irons on the A1 and A2 receivers.

    Cool, Thanks

  16. No problem. A solution if you have an A3 receiver and a non-F FSB is to get a front sight post that's slightly taller than the standard one. That'll let you set your elevation adjustment without having to unscrew your post too far.
