dude a 50 1.8 is $130 new and $100 used all over craigslist. it's also a piece of shit compared to the $200 35 1.8

as long as you are DX and not full frame

how is the 55-200? whats the condition of it?

 the 55-200. i can't afford a super expensive lens in that range after dumping money on the tamron 17-50 and tokina 11-16. the 55-200 is pretty sharp, but it's slow at 4-5.6

It's an alright lens. All plastic build, but good optics and you can't really beat it for the price. Pretty much perfect condition. I'll get pictures.
