Used them for the first time last night.. Love these things! Really made by forarms feel better while doing curls. Thick cordova style. They belonged to a friend of mine that got them in the lost and found. I looked at every sporting good store in my city and found nothing but thin elastic style ones.

Anyone know of a good online site that sells the think style ones?

were you doing barbell curls by any chance?

I'd perhaps trying switching to dumbells and saving the wraps for squats and bench

He's talking about wraps, not straps. I use wraps for any kind of presses because I have bad wrists.

Hell I use them when I do squats. Go to www.elitefts.com and get the Metal all-black ones, pretty much the strongest you can buy. Or if you don't like them so stiff the tripe or double-line ones are good too.

^^^ The Metal ones I've used are far better than the Inzers I used to have. But looks like he was talking about straps anyway...

Oh, when squatting it just keeps my wrists stiff and keeps them from hurting and helps me keep the bar more stable.. I have bad wrists anyhow so it doesn't take a whole lot.

    all those curl presses huh...:mamoru:
Squats are logical because you are still pressing the bar.

Wraps help my wrists out too during certain lifts, but I found spending a bit more time on my wrists / forearms helps out long term.
