I just started having a similar problem, but only when benching. On about the 2nd rep my left wrist starts hurting like it needs to pop. If I rack the weight it hurts for a bit then goes away. If I don't pussy out it disapears by the end of the 3rd rep.

Anyone know what this could be?

I have the same problem with my right wrist. I got some gloves that have a wrist strap built into it that I only use when doing bench and dips - helps a lot.

Well tendons are everywhere, and itis meens inflammation, so I'd say no. Elbow tendonitis would be of the elbow

Increase daily intake of EFA's (does a LOT of beneficial things for you, but among them, it helps in building / strengthening joints / tendons). I was having wrist problems and forearm pain problems after a couple months of training, and it continued to escalate. Someone on here suggested EFA's and I started poppin the fish oil and my pain gradually went away - relatively quickly too, I think it was only a few weeks before I felt no pain.
