She is pretty much a total loss. Now just waiting for the adjuster to get with me so I can settle. I was to drive it to NC in a couple weeks. Now I gotta find a new ride. Since I will not settle for any sports car that is not an NSX, I'm just gonna get some sort of sedan, preferably Japanese. Maybe a new Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, or even a slightly used Lexus.

    ^^ what he said.

If nothing but an NSX will do, I'm not sure what your logic behind getting a Camry is. Unless it's supposed to be some sort of penance for wrecking the NSX. Get another one.

Try an Altima with the CVT transmission. It's a thing of magic the way it keeps the engine at peak torque the whole time you have the pedal to the metal. Combine that with a 270hp V6, and it's a pretty good ride.

Get a 5th gen maxima :) Cheap, reliable, comfortable, good gas mileage, and actually pretty quick (6 speeds run low 14s). Spend $1500 on brakes/suspension and it's a really good/affordable package.

Unless you're looking at spending more..then I'd definitely suggest getting something RWD. E46's are fun cars, and the '04-'05 ZHPs are nice as hell. If you're dead set on Japanese, you can get a V36 G35 sedan for a pretty good price used as well (less than a new V6 camry and around the same price as an E46 ZHP..)

You're gonna regret getting a sedan.
Well, unless it's like an EVO or M5. :o

Thanks for the kind words fellas. I'm already looking for another NSX. I talk to the adjuster on tuesday, and there's a couple NSX that I have my eye on. If the planets and stars align right, I get a good settlement, then it will definitely be another NSX.

If not, then I will be driving a 88-91 Civic HB that my dad has in the mean time. I was planning on getting a sedan just to have reliable transportation. People have suggested I get a 300ZX, 350Z, Supra, RX-8, Charger, Challenger, M3, etc... but I would just not be happy. I don't care how much more HP or faster a car might be than the NSX, it's just not the same.

My budget will not allow me to get a 02-05 NSX, with the flush headlights, so I will be sticking with the older models. I still plan on updating the front end to the 02-05 style though, easy upgrade.

Sorry about your loss. If there's any good news, it's that there are a lot of NSXs for sale right now and prices have definitely fallen the last 6 months.

I'm going to go hug my NSX now. :)

Yeah, I'm definitely going to look for another NSX.

    Catera? Maxima? no thanks.
