What do you guys use? The last time I practiced my elbows on a bag my arms got cut up a bit.

wraps for punching should just be anything from standard boxing wraps + gloves to gel-lined bag gloves (I use these but also use 14 oz frequently).

As for elbows, I've tried wrapping mine up with the bandage-style wraps but they always split around the hinge of the elbow and the point of the elbow is left exposed. Only solution for this is to be careful when doing elbows. Be sure to really slam the bag with the elbow on the side rather than making shallow contact and ending up scraping your elbows on the bag.

He's completely right here. Once I got the hang of this I never had a problem with the skin on my elbow.

I don't use any wraps for my elbows. I hit with the forearm, not the pointy part of the elbow. As for hands I use regular hand wraps
