Was at bass pro and a guy was turning in his gun to be locked and his hammer was back and slide forward. So the jackass just pulls the trigger and and the hammer drops while he was pointing it at the RO of bass pro. Than when he racks the slide a round came out and was a misfire all of our faces went :eek3:

Seriously some people shouldn't be allowed to own a fucking gun

Strangely, this does nothing positive for my perception of 1911 fans...

I would have filed a police report for negligence. That guy should not own any guns after that.

it's amazing that after the amount of trolling WMD does in the main forum that every time a ridiculous gun thread pops up they dont come down here to see if theres a link or something

We wouldn't take that report here. If anything, cop would show up, tell the guy he is fucking stupid and shouldn't own a gun, maybe trespass him from the property, depending on how the people there feel, and then let everyone be on thier way.

Wow, if that guy was only "asked" to hand in his card and never come back, I'd say that's surprising. I would've given that guy the 3rd degree and then some.

Shit, if I owned that place and gave classes, I'd offer him a FREE slot in a future class just so I can maybe contribute to educating a dumbass and saving someone else's life in the future.

    :eek4: :eek4: :eek4:

I'd rather be the guy that puts a conscious effort into stopping shit like that happening in the future again than the guy who just yells at him, makes him feel embarrassed, and hopes he doesn't do that again.

:werd: Reminds me of a story, some famous pilot was flying one of his planes for an airshow and one of the guys that prepped his plane accidentally put gasoline in instead of jet fuel. The pilot did an emergency landing after the engines started to fail and the engines were basically totaled, a very expensive mistake. So the pilot asked to speak to the person who prepped his plane and everyone was expecting a shit storm. So he walks up to the young mechanic and takes a deep breath and.... appointed him to be the chief mechanic for the air show the following day and needless to say that mechanic never let an oversight like that get by him again.

Morale of the story, scolding people won't help them improve and at that point the only thing you can do is either educate them or empower them to educate themselves. In the case of that RO I would probably lace into him and then offer him the class :o, but the point still stands I guess.
