I have the same one, but serrated. It's ok, i'm kinda a knife junkie though, must have 60+ knives. I havn't seen that one in a while since I carry/use my spyderco's daily.

I had one. The screws came out of the handle after about a month, so I had to constantly tighten them in. I actually used it daily, all day. One of the bars on the handle broke after I dropped it from about 20 feet. Junked it after that. Havn't bought a new knife since. Im in the market. :naughty:

Well I used that damn thing all day every day. I did manual labor for 2 years (now white collar ftw thank god.) And every knife I bought fell apart like that before 3 months. I just ended up getting one of those folding box cutters with the disposable blade. I'm looking at a benchmade or CRKT now. I hear good things about them.

I'd say $26 is worth the 3 months though considering you used it every day. I have two kind of like that and they have lasted me for years. I don't use them every day though.

Yeah. I got my moneys worth. If I did that to a 100 dollar Benchmade I might be a little pissed. But all of the semi decent knifes that I had did that. So I didn't complain.

I had that gerber and carried it daily. The handle cracked in half and I rarely ever used it. You may have better luck but I vote "No".

Benchmade's have a lifetime warranty, so if you did do that to your's they'd either fix or replace it.

I have that knife. It's not one of my favorites. I rarely ever carry it. I carry a couple different buck knives usually.

Yea I have it, honestly I'm most unimpressed by the edge, or lack of edge. It seems a bitch to keep REALLY sharp. I don't carry it, it sits on my knightstand so I can stab someone in the thigh - Arterial bleeding FTMFW!

Im not a fan of that blade. I like half serrated regular curved blade. But hey, whatever foats your boat, go for it. I have that knife but the blade i said above. Great little knife. Great size for carry too.

I have a Kershaw that is similar to that. It has a little nub you push to pop the blade, instead of the thumb stud.

If it just say 400 series stainless it's probably 440A which sucks; it it was something better like 440C they'd advertise it.
