So I made a circuit for the university robotics team a few months ago that would allow them to control their analog robot cameras with a computer serial port, but I was having problems with the circuit. I thought the problem was that the breadboard I was testing it on was building up charge at the microcontroller's MISO pin when the MOSI was working so the microcontroller thought it was getting both data in and data out on the half duplex SPI system which made it freeze and set an error flag.

I thought that keeping the MISO line set to Vcc would fix the problem. It did fix the problem, but I made a mistake and never actually hooked it up to the MISO pin, but to the slave select pin. I just tested it again and hooking up the 5+ Vcc to either the MISO or the SS pin fixes the problem, even though it really shouldn't.

    lols.
