I picked up their recent special edition copy that goes over the basics and lays down a workout routine on top of all sorts of other advice they give on things.

I'm just wondering am I reading into crap.

    Men's Health should be a love/hate relationship.

First off, if you want to get big, then there is nothing in there useful to you getting big.

I read Men's Health regularly and actually like the magazine a lot. But this is not because it tells me how to get big, it is because it has a lot of new scientific data in there usually pertaining to new food and exercise. Also, it has a lot of good info about meals, food, and other stuff.... Not to mention it is fairly entertaining to read.

I think it is a good mag and a reliable source for information.. Just not a place to go for info on how to build mass or strength in the gym. It is targeted towards a different group of people who want the non-bulky lean and healthy type thing.

The same shit is in just about every bodybuilding magazine too.

At least Men's Health isn't stuffed with 150 pages of ads.

Men's Health is a great mag.

Nutrition information isn't bad at all. The parts about sex/women are pretty accurate and, if not in your case, at least they will stimulate you to think more about certain aspects of women (besides that they are all lying, cheating, whores).

I still get my Men's Health every month and still read it. The fashion ideas are getting pretty fucking metro, but at least they try.

Depends on the writer. There's some reputable trainers- Cosgrove, etc- who write for a lot of major magazines.

my dad got me a subscription... i read it, and pretty much take everything with a grain of salt. it's a decent resource to get ideas from, but as far as following everything to the T, i dunno about that
