Just out of curiosity, what kind of gas mileage do you get on it?

I've never really paid attention to it. Probably about 17-18 with mixed highway/town driving.

he wont sell it for that cheap.

its a decent deal at that, but it will go for close to 10k.

If you're willing to put in some TME (time, money and effort), then by all means, go for it. :)

I think I may just wait and get my Mazda 3. I just don't feel like dealing with the whole maintenance deal.

I would not suggest anyone buy a 300ZX as a daily driver. Unless you are a mechanic, or have a ton of cash.

Yeah, that's the other reason. After thinking it through, I can only afford one car, and I easily put ~25k on it per year.

Ouch, I don't think a TTZ would be good for you if it's going to be your only mode of transportation. :hs:

the fact that you already own a Grand Prix indicates you are a car masochist.

So, sure buddy...buy that 17 year old car-it's already leaking, but hey, what could go wrong

I got an awesome deal on my GP, that's about the only reason I bought it.

Still, it has worked beautifully for the year and a half I've had it. :hsd:

What would make for a good, fast, reliable DD for ~10k?

and as much as i hate domestics, you could probably find a mustang GT, at least they are cheap to fix. I think you can rebuild the block at Walmart now.
