disk utility app? now mouse doesnt work, help me get an oink invite...

somehow mine is messed up and i cant find my install disk to fix it. I want to do a clean install but i cant find the disk and i cant pirate it because you need a dvd burner... I need to format an external hard drive. I currently have a 500 gig drive but it is paritioned into 30 gig at fat32 because windows wont make it any bigger.

so this is what my utilities folder looks like...

Yes, you could use someone else's install disks....no keys/activation like MS products

as long as the 2 systems are the same, you could use someone else's disk. (ie, macpro disk on a macpro, macbook on a macbook)

There is the retail version which is the store bought one, which works on all the systems
then there are the specific ones for each system (intel, G5, ibook, macbook....the one that comes with the computer when you buy it) you could install it from any of those, but sometimes weird things happen...

so i downloaded a version of OSX from Oink... But it must have been for a desktop because it wont recognize the trackpad so now the mouse doesnt work. this really sucks. Any ideas? I dont see anywhere a download anywhere that is laptop specific. I'd be willing to give an oink invite to anyone that can help me figure this out.
