I'd like to get my Dad some new wheels for his 1985 Dodge Ram 2wd. Right now he just has black steelies. So I'd like to get him something more....up to date.

    I know they are 8 lug...other then that I haven't looked.

But can anyone help with finding a proper wheel for it. I'm not looking for anything specail...just something decent.

What size rim? 15", 16", etc?

What size tire would be good for 2wd?

Any other websites that I could goto for more info would be helpfull as well.

    Thanks!

    Thank you.

What size rim should I go with? It has 16" rims...but if I go with 31's then the rim size on there doesn't really matter.

    15's are more regularly available.

Anyone know if wheels off a 98 Ram 2500 will fit a 85 Ram?

They are 8 lug just like my dads 85 Ram.

ok, i asked a around and found out that yes they will fit but you souldn't use them because the backspacing is wrong for the old rams . They will bolt on but wont fit rigth and will stick out to far from the wheel wells. You might want to try another rim.
