If you're trying to shed some fat, save that for after your workout.

An entire bottle of propel only has ~ 6g of sugars, which is nothing compared to a bottle of gatorade which packs a good 50g's or so.
Propel is fine, but again, I would stay away from any high sugar type drinks while working out if you wish to lose weight/fat.

how much is in that container for $8?

all you really need to do is just drink some whey and gatorade before your workout and gatorade or water during. no need for any fancy stuff beyond that

I really don't think it will make that much of a difference one way or the other.

Yeah because you'll burn a lot more fat if you drink it after rather than during!

i think being properly hydrated before you head to the gym will give you better results than drinking some simple sugars during your workout.
