i only can hit the gym 3 days a week now because of school and work.
3 is enough
it can only help!
nothing really wrong with it.
most people in the military would say it helps...
3 is enough but pushups/situps will get the blood flowing on a daily basis which will aid in recovery.
Someone told me if you do 150 push ups a day, your bench will go up 5 lbs every week. I did them, and my bench actually did go up consistently for awhile, but it could have just as well been attributed to a properdiet and optimal routines.
when I was boxing we would go about 15 3min rounds at different stations (heavy bag, double ended bag, speedbag,etc) and we did 5 pushups and 5 dips after every round on our 30second rest
I think my incline bench went up like 40lbs in a month and a half or something sick like that.
3 should be enough if your intensity is high enough...
