    over 3 bucks a can?

You can get like 20x that much protein with almost as much convenience if you buy a 10lb bag of ON plus a Blender Bottle for double the price of 12 cans. At 2 shakes a day it seems this bag will last me at least 3 months.... 12 cans wouldn't last a week.

Pretty expensive. I buy ProLab Lean Mass Complex MRP's and stuff the package in a shaker bottle when I go to school. Pretty much the same exact thing, but way better ratio/ingredients, and 1/2 the price

$2.50, the problem with the shaker bottles is that i would have to carry that shit around with me all day since I'm on campus from 9am-6pm 3 days of the week. That plus books for 5 classes is a bitch to carry around. With the can, I chug it between my first and second class, trash the can and not have to worry about it for the rest of the day.

    Any other alternatives?

Maybe I'm just being a bitch about this.

if you got the money you might try it... then try the blender bottle + powder for a week and see how you like it. That way, if you don't like it, you can go back to the cans plus you have a good supply of whey and the blender bottle for times when you run out of cans :dunno:

nothing to lose, just think of it as an investment towards muscular growth :o

i know this is going to sound crazy, but you can just mix protein and water and put it in a gatorade bottle instead of a shaker

i don't even scrub my shaker bottle until the end of the day. The inside of it is so smooth that stuff just rinses right off. I use it once when I go to work, rinse it out when I get home and let it dry, fill it again, use it later on PWO, and scrub it out before I sleep so it's clean the next day.

man i would yack if i had to drink that stuff again. It's all I ate for a month and a half when my jaw was wired up. Tastes good as hell though, and IIRC it's like 17g protein for one of those little bottles, some good fats and carbs too. Two of those post workout should be pretty good :dunno:

I never said it was a big deal carrying around a shaker bottle, it's what I've been doing. I'm just going through my options.

Don't get your panties in a bunch.

That involves buying and drinking gatorade or any other bottled drink for that matter, which I don't do. I used to use water bottles, but I've since stopped buying bottled water.

What? When did I say gatorade is evil? I'm just saying I don't drink it.

Forget it, this is a lost cause.

All I was looking for was a disposable protein drink. That's it. People buy other bottled shit all the time when they could buy a powdered version - it's not that unusual. Like gatorade, you can buy the powder and save money, but ppl buy the bottles for convenience. That's it, just simple request...

Yeah but gatorade is not 2.00+ a bottle Protein is gonna be alot cheaper and better non RTD. You could buy a box of bottled water dump out the water and fillt hem with proteina nd you would save yourself money.

See, that's a good suggestion. It's an obvious alternative, but I didn't think of it - which I knew was going to happen. And I didn't bother doing the math either, so I wouldn't know which was cheaper.

Or I could just add the protein to the water in the bottle, even more convenient...

That's all I was looking for.

or you could just use a shaker like you already have been, not having to fuck around trying to funnel whey into the small mouth of a drink bottle.

You're just making a problem out of nothing.
