  8. I should do a cleaning write up and post it there, and I'll claim that every time I clean the gun (which is immediately following any range session, of course) I COMPLETELY disassemble it. I punch the roll pins out of the lower and everything, and then I fanatically scrub each part before I carefully reassemble it.

The worst gun video on youtube was deleted 2 hours after it was uploaded.

Some retarded guy shot a video in high def called "Birthday Bullets"

In it, he points a loaded Beretta Inox at the back of his buddy's head, he shoots above another guy's head while he downrange changing targets, and he also shoots at the feet of another guy.

After the internets discovered it and called him out on being a retard, he quickly pulled the video. Said.

Think the gas tube is important? What about the buffer tube?! If it's not clean, it could slow the bolt down and cause cycling problems!

And the weights inside the buffer? They pein themselves every time you fire your rifle, and work harden. After a little while, they get so hard, they could damage the inside of the buffer. You'd better replace those every 3-400 rnds.

I do the same, except instead of cleaning all the parts myself, I send each one in it's own envelope to whoever made it and see if they'll just replace it for me. If not, they usually send it back nice and clean.

  21. I've got you covered on the "don't waste too much time cleaning" front too. Hopefully someone bites one way or the other.
