I thought it was a decent UFC, by far wasn't the worst of all time, 33 and 55 are way ahead of it.

Yves vs Joe I thought shouldn't have been stopped. The cut was the same as Rivera vs the Crow, was in the same spot and they let that fight go. The blood wasn't even going into Yves' eyes.

I don't think the Shamrock stoppage was premature, he ate 5 hard ass elbows and didn't do a damn thing to block any of them or atleast move his head out of the way. He only has himself to blame for Herb jumping in to stop it.

I was really happy about the announcement but I think the UFC should stop coasting on the TUF crowd based, lackluster cards. Although the rest of the events for 2006 look sick.

    Dot.

Joe Stevenson was a beast at Welterweight, now that he's in Lightweight he's even more of a beast! I see him and Little Evil dominating the weight class, although Yves was a trooper last night.

Wandy coming to the UFC made my night! And was a good atonment for the pisspoor Tito/Ken fight.

I can't believe Arlovski didn't try ONCE for a takedown, especially after he had Sylvia's left knee nice and worked. If it had gone to the ground I'm almost positive Arlovski would have dominated and the fight wouldn't have lasted all five.

I was hugely disappointed in the event... The Edwards/Stevenson fight was really the only bright spot (along with the LIddell/Silva announcement)... I'm not sure if I'll be ordering another UFC fight until November... I'd much rather watch PRIDE which always offers several BIG matches per event, or K1 which I just find immensly entertaining...

yeah i was supremly dissappointed with the 2 main fights.

Basically my feeling on tito/shamrock is tito wouldent be interested in a rematch if he thought the stoppage was justified. If you want to be the best you dont look back and take a 3rd fight with a guy you think you beat easily twice. I think he belives it was stopped to quick

silva/arlovski both guys were so damn timid, both afraid to get hit for 5 rounds aa was jabbing all match and silvia was countering, only good offensive moves were aa leg kicks which were doing damage but he quit doing those after round 2 so there went that thought. AA dissappointed me and with all silvias talk he dissappointed....was good he recended his bad chin comments though.

Ken is not GREAT fighter. Back in the day he was alright because his opponents were clueless on the ground. He is sort of like Royce Gracie minus the bjj plus steroids. His body is aging faster than his spirit, so he really can't be expected to keep up with the current competition.

You can't really blame TUF fighters for this shitty PPV... blame Arvlovski, Mir, and Shamrock

I wasn't talking about the TUF fighters...I meant the crowd, who saw this event based on watching the TV show

not a lot of hardcore fans would go see to see a live event with suck a lackluster card
