Oh yeah, it's Windows btw. :p This is my PC at work that I do my development work on so it doesn't just sit in a corner either. Windows 2000 is very stable. :big grin:

I had a UPS a few months ago. We used to have power issues all the time over the summer. I'm shocked it hasn't already gone out. Once I hit 100 days, I'll be happy.

The thing I hate about uptimes is that the longer the are up the more upset I get when they finaly go down.

I don't think my installs last that long, let alone my computer being on without a restart for that long

Actually come to think of it, if you're running 2K, you either haven't been updating your computer, or haven't restarted it (yes some of those updates actually do require a restart!) :nono:

This box does have SP3 installed but aside from that I haven't updated the system. About the reinstall, I can't do that because this is my work box. No problems here. :big grin:

I'm not worried about hackers or anything. I'm behind a well secured firewall here at work. :p

My firewall hasn't been up that long (82 days) :(

Actually, this machine would be up like that if my fucking brother didn't keep rebooting into NT

Most uptime I've had clocked is a development web server running Win2k Advanced server hosting 200 websites/domains was up for 427 days without a reboot. And only rebooted it to patch it. :big grin:

427 prior to SP3. Even then I think SP2 was out in that time frame. As it stands, there's a lot of people who have long running servers that don't patch on a timely basis!
