WORKOUT NEEDED (something that involves no weights, just a body)

    i need something i can do besides running when i dont have weights around


    just something to stay fit



    pushups yea, but what else? :confused:

    alright so you don't wanna use weights... only a body...

    well i guess you can do most stuff that requires a barbell...

    Just make sure your hands are well positioned otherwise it could fall on you... fairly wide-grip I guess... near the lower and upper back.

    regular pushups..
    close grip (diamond) pushups..
    pushups with your legs elevated..
    shoulder press (handstand, rest your legs against the wall, press your body weight, if you can)..
    squats with something heavy in yuor hands or on your back/shoulders..
    lunges..
    step ups..
    calf raises on the stairs..
    bicep curls (laundry bag, somthing heavy and grippable)..
    tricep dips (on a chair with your legs elevated)..

    et cetera

    Regular pushups, decline pushups, incline pushups, wide grip, close grip, diamond pushups, one armed pushups, dips


    Wide-grip pullups, close grip pullups, chin ups

    Bodysquats, wallsits, one legged squats, jumping

    lots more but that's the basic stuff... If you want to gain size then better invest in some weights. If you want to gain strength then invest in some weights. Calistenics are very good for staying in good health, burning extra calories, and feeling good (and conditioning for many types of sports, as well).

    Even then, getting some adjustable dumbells or even a barbell and weights for just a few exercises can really improve your workouts and abilities.
