i like to be in a good smiley mood when i work out.

Agreed, angry = best workouts.
i guess its just me.
i dont like being in an angry mood when i go to the gym. it totally throws me off and just makes me frustrated as i lift. I just like being calm and in the zone.
youd probably see in a corner muttering to himself "yeaa buddy, light weight baby!"
angry is good, aggressive is better, pent up frustration is great, and feeling totally psychotic is the best. I'm going to "workout" the crazy out of me lol.
this is also one of the reasons I fear getting involved with girls i meet at the gym...

i look forward to lifting too much to be angry by the time i get to the gym. Even at night, ill spend countless hours just thinking, all giddy and excited about tomorrow's gymtime... "oOooh deadlifts tomorrow. fawkin gonna try to set a new personal best! YEAAAAH!"
from the moment i wake up that's all on my mind, so when i finally get there...I'm not angry. I'm like a kid who's been told a week ago that we're going to Disneyland and finally..FINALLY, I'm here!
do you think it would help your deadlifts if i said your response was really, really gay?

A little bit of both, but small things really set me off. Like someone cutting me off in traffic, I get really pissed off. I have high blood pressure and a very short fuse. Little things piss me off. Took me a while to get used to F&N's sarcasm becuase people would really upset me on here.
maybe you need to lay off the gear
I'm on HRT, I kind of have to take it. Last week I went in to my doc for a pre-surgery exam and my heart rate was a 125 or something close, just from driving in traffic. I am a heavy coffee drinker and take Green Tea pills. Have to cut that out.
one of the reasons that brought to my attention how terrible my physique had gotten was when my doc told me i could either lose weight or take blood pressure meds. 10lbs of pure fat so far ftw!

There's minimum caffeine in the green tea supps...at least the one I'm taking.
The capsules I take have 50mg's of caffine, I take 2 in the am, 2 before my workout.
