Working out w/ a cold...what do you guys take, Dayquil or anything?

    Got a fucking cold, its minor, nothing major (at least not yet, hopefully) my throat is scratchy and im coughing a bit/stuffy nose. congested.

    any tips? I need to hit back today.

    I usually take a high strength vitiamin C pill right I feel I'm getting sick. That's about it.

    Other than that, I just go sick...depending on how sick I am that is.

    if its just a cold, I'll pop some Bronchaid and drink a diet mt dew. If I'm sick, no training.

    i had a cold/sick a couple weeks ago. ended up having to miss work, but i didn't miss a day of working out. i figured id have to go light, but i was keeping pace with previous weeks pretty well. seems like once your endorphins start going it doesnt matter how you felt before.

    i bomb my body with vitamins when i feel a cold coming :dunno:

    my throat started feeling icky and i was getting stuffy, i took like 5 vitamin Cs and 4 multivitamins and was okay a day later :rofl:

    That's what I do, if I feel myself getting sick I'll just drink a fuckload of OJ all day.

    I still workout if I have a cold or whatever, the only way I'm not goin is if I'm barfing.

    honestly, this is actually kind of funny.

    a week ago, my friend was telling me how sick hes been getting, i thought about it and said out loud "dude i havent been sick in FOREVER" i honestly didnt remember the last time i was sick. My friend goes "Dude, knock on wood." I giggled, saw no wood, didnt knock, and left it at that thinking "im definitely going to get sick." 4 days later...here we are.

    im not too low of bf% right now btw, id be willing to say im around 10-11%.

    Agree, Vitamin C definitely helps. Emergen-C is that powder you put in water, not bad

    if you're still able to function normally but have a light cold, take some vitamin C, multivitamin, get lots of rest, drink lots of water, exercise lightly (didn't your mother tell you this shit?)

    if you're really sick, don't be a douchebag, stay out of the fucking gym.

  21. Werd, I feel sick too. I just poped a shit load of Vitamin C and I'm going to go pick up some multi and more VitC at the store now. I'm sure it was not wise to run 3 miles this morning at 6:00 AM either. :ugh: Cold as fuck..
