working out three days in a row ftl?

    if my schedule only permits me to work out three days in a row, is that better then nothing? it wouldnt be that im not doing anything the other 4, because id be training in MMA stuff. any ideas?

    Provided you're not working the same body parts on each of the days, I'd say it's fine.

    yeah if i worked out during the week id be overworking myself every day.

    Give it a go and listen to your body. For some people it might be too much for others it's fine but you have to learn how to know what your body is telling you and lift intensity/increase rest and intake to match it.

    There's nothing wrong with working same bodypart on concurrent days. if you're doing the smart thing and training movements and have different exercises theres no problem at all. look at HST or an olympic lifter program

    i did all the time, if you count the conditioning and stuff i was going everyday

    you should be fine as you figure out how to manipulate volume and intensity. I'd imagine that if you are training MMA hardcore you are gonna be pretty overworked if you try and pull some of that give 150% bullshit in the gym

    i never lift more than 2 days in a row even when on, if you have to once in a while it wont hurt.

    what do you mean working out? I work out 6 days a week but I don't lift everyday. I lift one day cardio the next...works for me.

    i ment straight lifting three days in a row. i should be good to go though, i want to lift heavy but everyones suggesting high rep low weight because im doing MMA stuff, but ive never done that before :(
