    thur (legs)

    squats 4x10
    hack squats 4x10
    SLDL 4x8
    lunges 4x8
    medium weight leg extensions 3x15
    leg curls 4x10
    snatch 3x5
    upper body plyometrics

    sat (shoulders & arms)

    high pulls 3x5
push press or military press 4x8
    machine side laterals 4x10

    facepulls to forehead 3x10

    v-bar pushdown 3x15
decline french curls bar tricep extension 3x10
    rev pushdown 3x10

    v-bar bicep curls 4x10
    preacher curls 3x10

i was thinking of switching to this

    mon (heavy)

    squat 4x8
    decline bench 4x8
    cleans 5x5
    (SLDL ?)

    wed (light)

    squat 3x10

before sunrise (suhoor), i'm just gonna make oatmeal and a casein shake and sleep a little bit more and wake up for classes.

Just like he should let people who post on OT limit the way he lives too?

You could take out his religion in the context of his post and insert body building standards, so-so's routine in a sticky, etc. because it's all the same thing. He's committing to a "routine" and not everyone goes by the same one. :ugh:

His religion in the scheme of things is nothing more than a routine for his life. So like any routine he is trying to do what he can with its limitations. What's his fuck decided to make a point that his religion is limiting his lifting/life, or so he thinks.

I was pointing out he could have easily said his diet, job, girlfriend, doctor, whatever were the reasons why he had to modify his routine and wouldn't have gotten shit for it. But because he's muslim it had to get pointed out.

I'm curious as to what a recommended diet would look like during this time :dunno:

Is your body in starvation mode? Do you find yourself more sensitive to carbs and bloating?

Wrong, If youve been around F&N long enough you would realize that any excuses OTers make on why they cant get big and strong makes them instant (and valid) targets for hate. I.E. "I cant workout cause I injured myself", "I cant lift because I dont have the time", "I have to fast because my religion is ancient and retarded", etc. They all get the same response.

Eat Big, Lift Big, and/or STFU.

lol our God = Christian God. same things :o

wouldn't consider it a limitation...it's more of a challenge. that last day, you get this awesome feeling of victory or something...it's nice.
lol back in the old days, they didn't have houses with a/c and cars and all that...we have it made compared to them.

plus, i'm a man of faith before i'm a gym rat. if i was some competing bber or pler or any athlete, that would be different. but come on, you can't set aside 1 month?

    that's gross ahahaha

i wake up a little before sunrise so i just brush my teeth then. some say you can brush your teeth any time..as long as you TRY to not-swallow the water..others say you cant till breakfast.
it just comes down to what YOU think is best

Fuck the haters I respect your commitment to your religion. If you do what Damnation posted I think you'll be okay.

I can't believe F&N regulars are actually coming out with hate based on religion, it's fucking retarded and just as bad as hating based on race.

    Christian god? :dunno:

It just seems pointless to me, but I do understand that you gotta do what you gotta do. I dont respect your fasting because of your devotion to your religion, frankly I think religion is silly. I do, however, respect your commitment to whatever your goals are regarding honoring what you hold sacred.

In all honesty I bet you have made more sacrifices in your day to day workout regiment than any average muslim during a short period of fasting or religous cleansing.
