Working out at lunch time and timing

    I have a gym upstairs from work so i go during lunchtime.

    When i come back down in 1hr or so, i usually down some whey protien, then i proceed to eat my lunch.

    Is this a bad thing? from what ive read, it says to take whey protien post-workout, and then eat an hour or so after that.

    Take the protein shake and drink some Gatorade within 15 minutes post-WO then eat your lunch when you get back to work.
