working out a badly bruised muscle?

    got slammed really hard on a takedown in sparring on friday, and ended up landing on the guys fist, right in the middle left side of my back. hurts alot and there is a bruise, but it feels much deeper and spread out than where the bruise currently shows.

    hurt alot when doing squats and deadlifts so i didnt do them much at all today... thoughts on working out a bruised area?

    if it were a superficial bruise fine i would work through the pain, but im thinking i should maybe go easy on it for a while?
