Since yesterday was light squat day, I decided to find out what my one rep squat max really was with a spotter. Did some warm up sets, worked up to my orignal 5 rep max (165), but just did it one time.

So, I kept racking on more weight, doing just one rep per set, more, more ... eventually stopped at 235, almost felt like I could have done a little bit more.

These guys have helped me immensely with my workout, as far as teaching me form for various exercises. They smiled and gave me props. They know I'm a beginner, but they're impressed with how far I've come in the past month.

Yeah, I know 235 is no big deal to most of you brolies, but I'm happy about it. I've said it before-- I'm determined to lose this flabby physique once and for all and replace it with a strong frame.
