work out schedual

    I see everyone saying "i did arms today" and than "i did legs yesterday" I like to do everything everyday. Is that bad? I do cardio for a short period (i hate cardio) than legs arms abs and back.. i jump around from machine to machine. Im trying to figure out whats going to work for me and im having a hard time. Ive been reading a lot about weight lifting for women. I think im going to start doing A LOT of weight lifting and see how it goes for me. Im lost with what to do really I dont even know why im posting, i guess to have someone draw me a picture of what i should be doing. I just need to go back to cheerleading, that kept me in shape:mamoru:

    from oz or scotland or something?

    follow one of the guides for weightlifting for women that you are reading. should be the same as for men, pretty much.

    like i said, one of the routines in your book, or a standard 3days/week for weights and other days for cardio, fun, etc will work well.

    no, my car makes me happy. :)
    If i just start weightlifting like crazy will I lose weight. Ive read in a few places that its really benificial for women and we dont really need that much cardio. ?

    Ultimate Weight loss = Lifting Weights + Cardio

    Why?

    Because lifting weights burns more calories throughout the day with respect to only doing cardio. You burn off a lot of glycogen when you lift weights. These glyocgen stores need to be replenished so when you eat, instead of the food being stored as fat energy, it gets stored as glyocgen. Cardio burns more calories as a single exercise than would weight lifting. So with cardio and weightlifting you get the initial calorie expenditure, with prolonged calorie expenditure throughout the rest of the day. So it is ideal to do both if you wish to lose weight quick.

    All in all, you can lose weight doing either or, but if you don't lift weights when losing weight as well as get adequate protein intake, you will lose muscle mass as well as fat, something i dont think guys and girls don't want to do.

    not the plan, the last thing is a 99 spec bumper which is on its way, than the motor gets my full attention.
