WEB wordpress install and upgrade shell scripts

    wrote these the other day when I had to update like 11tybillion WP installs. feel free to make changes and post them up, these very basic.

    WP-upgrade

    some software I use manages multiple (1-100k) wordpress blogs from the same set of wordpress files, using different table prefixes for each actual blog...all in one sql database. very similar to a wpmu setup, (although it allows different domains etc) you might want to look into it if you're managing that many different blogs.

    Not something you would be interested in, its a blackhat software that manages large amounts of 'spam blogs'. (I'd rather not promote it, pm me if you want a link)

    I don't know how much of a programming background you've got but it's done in php/sql.

    There might be something out there more mainstream based.

    ok whatever, you did not mention blackhat in your first post, so i was curious, i currently running like 7 blogs and have more that will be launched

    I'm pretty interested in this. Been running ~70 for a while now, want to take a look at methods other than what I've already got going.

    :werd: looking for some sort of plugin that basically has a dropdown menu, you select the domain you want to manage. i hate logging into so many blogs :o
