smith machine squats: 450 lbs woot!!
you a homo
450 lbs on a smith machine + 1/4 of the way down= 215 lb full squat on rack
so thats 5 plates on each side. 10 total =450?
tell me this is a joke
why do they call it smith machine. did someone named smith make it.
b/c will smitch likes to pr off of it.
so thats like 135 on a barbell
lock and ban
HAY GUYZ!!! Waz goin on in here!?
I don't get what's so bad about the Smith Machine. You just don't include the 45lbs with your weight total like you normally would.
Im having a terrikayi cheese steak right now.
Really? You mean it's the exact same difficulty as a barbell, you just subtract the weight for the bar?
Smith machine feels lot lighter than that. I can rep my bb max on the smith for 8-10.
Not all smith machines have a counter weighted bar.
I think Ceaze also posted something about more pressure on the lower back from using the Smith for squats.
