Separated my shoulder riding my mountain bike today. Tore two ligaments, bent the front wheel into a half moon.

Fuck dude don't be posting that shit.
I ride around town without a helmet. I guess I don't have to deal with cliffs, just 3ton cars.

    Glad you're okay.

I ride around on a fixed gear, currently brakeless. I'm a lot more conservative this way, but am running risk of my chain slipping and not having any way to stop.

The front brake is going on ASAP.

Be sure to MS Paint your epic crash like I did so we can see where the car cut you off, and at what point your chain detatched

Call me crazy, but it looks to me like those brown lines are a trail, and he went off it to avoid going into a 3' chasm.

Yea, the chasm cut it in half and I was on the wrong side of it. Had I been on the other side of it nothing would have happened...

The point of mountain biking is to use unmaintained trails, not perfectly paved roads.

Just be thankful you're still alive, we've had 1 too many deaths this week already. Heal up soon, the chair looks comfy.
