I would copy and paste but the formatting wouldn't be right and I don't want to reformat everything, so just click here:

I read a bit and agree with the study that says cheating comes when they are emotionally dissatisfied.

Interesting article. Makes sense to me. :dunno:

The only part I disagree with was:

Men change for one reason and one reason only (I mean permanently that is):

    Because THEY want to.

Women, as a whole, need to realize that they CAN'T CHANGE THE MAN THEY ARE WITH NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY WANT TO.

It's just not going to happen. It will NEVER be permanent if he changes for you and it's an endless cycle. Just realize that the only time a man changes is when he wants to, and that he NEEDS a lot of "alone" time to make that change.

Agreed with the above post. People rarely change, and women can't understand that.

Dude, men can't understand that, either.

"Why does my gf keep cheating on me??? I keep showing her how much I love her but she keeps cheating on me!!! What can I do to get her to stop?!"

I love that the title is worded as though there is some printed manual that we are each given upon birth and study throughout our entire childhood.

True. A woman cheats because , like guys, they are emotionally unsatisfied.

I don't agree with the homage of once a cheater, always a cheater. I think there are rare cases where it is true, but for the most part it is conditional upon the situation they are in.

This doesn't stop women from thinking they can't change men. That is their maternal instinct, they always want to change people.

Men cheat because they aren't sexually satisfied. Women cheat because they aren't emotionally satisfied. We already know this.

Nah, you're not. Like you said, it's rare that people ever really truly change.

I believe people think they change simply because the situation that drove them to cheat the first time does not happen again. But put a cheater in a similar situation that stemmed the cheating the first time? My money's on the fact that they'll cheat again.

Dot. Ex: Unfulfilling emotions, long distance for extended periods of time, etc.

  14. That is sad that they even had to make a "technical manual" for that.

Older you get the less your sex drive is. Does anyone know the statistics of average age of cheating spouses?

Also the older you get the wiser you get (or so for some we hope). Maybe growing older you realize it's easier not to cheat.

But I do agree, many circumstances attribute to a person cheating... if the same circumstance occurred would they cheat again at a later age? It is hard to say how they have matured.

I don't think the article was proposing a method on how to change a man. I think it's just saying that once a man sees that his wife appreciates him, he is more likely to appreciate her.

  20. I could never cheat on my current or any SO. If I was that unsatisfied with our love life where I would risk our relationship completely I would just break it off.
