is he realy dead?
then they retcon it by saying if you grate parmesan cheese over the body, the pieces can be put back together.
even though i hated the whole "we evolved from were-wolves" bit, i particually enjoyed this arc.
i'd always imagine sabertooth would finally be killed with a clear head (for him anyways) in a epic battle with logan. instead, any sanity remaining was clearly driven from him and logan put him down like a mad dog.
now wolvie get's a great writer/novelist in marc guggenheim, and a new artist. the guy that's been penciling blade
uhm... did i miss 54? last i saw all the lupiens assembled and got their asses handed to them by sabertooth and 2nd string (forgot his name)
i dont have the books on me so i dont wanna read 55 if im missing something
54 ends when sabertooth goes bonkers and does something terrible...that ring any bells?
if you need ...nevermind...54 wasn't released on my newsgroups...odd
is this series on warskrull?
50-54 is uploading right now
Wolverine 54 is a B&W variant, still looking for a color version..
all i need is for it to refresh my memory if i did read it
So when did Wolverine first recover his memories? What issue? Since then, what's happened that we should read to follow what's going on? Wolverine - Origins (with his son) seems to take place after his memories are back, as does this issue #50-55 series.
Nah, he'll be back.
I mean Wolverine regenerated from NOTHING but a skeleton and bit of brain.
But that sword blocks the healing factor doesn't it? Actually, now that I think of it, according to Wolverine - Origins, it just really slows down the healing factor.
Wolverine is also the epitome of the lupine breed.
Oh, did they explain how?
What stories involving Wolverine's recovered memories are there to read other than Origins and Evolution?
I swear that is the stupidest Wolverine plot twist I can think of.
seriously... it just creates holes. Id be more ok with the whole separate species line if they weren't being born to human parents and having this weird reincarnation past.
i think our dear friend axio is referring to what us comic nerds call a dub-ya tee eff resurrection.
...for no god-damned reason or then a comic writer's plot device does a character come back.
that said, sabertooth is dead. just like captain america is dead. any comic book reader knows exactly what i'm talking about.
as much as i'm a huge wolverine fan...
Since HoM took place in a world where mutants were the main population Weapon X didn't take place the same way, so Wolverine was never given false memories. Origins was supposed to shed more light on his backstory but so far it has been horribly drawn and absolute shit to read.
It also came out of the blue. All of a sudden Wolverine is having flashbacks to being a lupine, for no reason at all. It is an idiotic plot twist and I hope they retcon it away.
The main reason they'll bring him back is because he is vital to Wolverine - without Sabertooth as his main antagonist Wolverine loses a lot of his edge.
Plus, it is so easy for writers to get around his death. For years there has been speculation over if he was a clone because he used to be a Maurauder. How easy is it for someone to be like, "Oh wait, the one that was killed was a clone!"
They are both Skrulls!
god that would have been fucking hilarious if logan chopped off his head and it turned into a skrull
i would have had a siezure and choked on my own tounge
didnt they have this storyline in earth X?
