cabelas has 9mm wolf fmj in 2x500rd in dry cans for 109.

other than them being unusable at most ranges which isn't an issue since the range i used dropped the casing rule, is anything wrong with them for range use?

A local shooting range banned the use of Wolf ammo on their ranges. They had a couple of projectiles lodged in barrels due to to the ammo in their rental guns. Gunsmith attributed it to underloading of powder in the ammo manufacturing process. CCI Blazer had the same QC issues..........

For a couple of pennies more per round, you can be shooting WWB.

But if you want to go with Wolf, I would buy a couple boxes to see how your guns will like them.

I suspect its more likely they sell their brass and the steel and aluminum cases get in the way. That doesn't sound as good to tell the customers though.

:werd: My range started letting me shoot Wolf as long as I take my brass home with me.

I'd buy that if they gave it to you for that price. Let us know how it goes if you decide to go with it.

I only shoot wolf through my handguns and NEVER through my ARs, HK rifles, or Steyr, and I CLEAN my guns after everyday of shooting.

    .

Have never fired WOLF, and will try to continue not using it if I can afford to.
I clean my guns after every trip and sometimes in between just make sure I got all I could. I use mildly corrosive ammo in my Nagant and even with how cheap they are, I do a follow up cleaning a week after shooting. Some call me a paranoid and overly maintaining my guns, but I know they will work when I need them to.

Only malfunctions I have ever had were all with my Anschutz .22 and it was cheap ammo that caused it.
Oh and my grandpas old marlin .22 but thats because its a tube semi auto and is a cuntish whore.
