Happend to guy on another forum I'm on.

So if any of you have Lot# 023-06 might want to think twice about using it.

and this is why I keep telling people NOT to use .308 Wolf. It seems that every other caliber is fine, but this is atleast the 10th time I have heard of wolf .308 blowing up a gun.

I wonder if they would pay medical cost if he had lost an eye or a chunk had been taken out of his face?

Probably not if he wasn't wearing glasses but if he was, I think the fragment might go a little bit further into his head than just the eye.

I just see It as a corporate thing.

He will get a letter that tells him that the cartridges were fine and manufactured to specs and that the fireing pin had either hit the primer pocket at the wrong angle or with too much depth. They will never admit to bad bullets as that would feed the media and that is the last thing wolf needs.
