Interesting to see what other folks do here. I see from the other thread there are quite a few government workers on here. And obviously some are active duty police officers, etc.

For over 9 years I've worked in the telecommuncations company as an IT Analyst supporting a production level enterprise application. Software life cycle development and am a SME for our Asset Management tool we use here. If you like my EDU's it's because that's what I do for a living. :mamoru: I train people to use this application providing technical documentation and training seminars and Tier 1 level support.

Just this evening I accepted a position with one of our major competitors as a Senior Business Systems Analyst. :mamoru: My wife worked there and got me on. We're both Senior Analyst, but in different organizations within the company.

    so what do ya'll do?

Self employed IT guy dealing with mostly small businesses and home users. It's enough to get me by and I meet some nice people but it's not something I want to make a career out of. I'm looking at moving into the gov't in some form of criminal law or law enforcement (federal, not a local LEO) eventually.

I hear that a lot. People tell me I'm going to start looking at people differently but I know a few co's and they all seem to enjoy it.
