Looked locally...looks like all Kydex breaks, Polymers will wear the shit out of a guns finish, leather will wear the finish too...safariland has a nice suede liner, but it was a triple retention holster.

I'm looking for something that is level 1 or 2 retention, and can fit a duty belt.

And a nice decent range bag satisfactory for carrying two hand guns...

Does the SERPA line wear very much? this is all for a glock 22...

I'd say Safariland 6280 or 6270. The 6270 says its a level 3, but I really don't think it is. They count pushing down the hood (1), rotating it forward (2), and rocking the gun back (3). I don't really think the down/forward motion really counts as 2 levels.

As for a range bag, no idea. :hs:

I wouldn't even worry about holster wear on a glock. Even if the look like shit they still hold their value.

I have the competition Midway back that MG linked, it's pretty fucking awesome. Great bag, and the quality is on par with bags in the $90-$100 range easily. It's plenty big to hold several hand guns, ammo, muffs and all kinds of shit.

  7. I posted a bunch of pics of it before in another thread. I'd search and link it for you, but I don't have a sub. You should be able to find it if you search something like "midway bag."

If you're getting it for a Glock, Safariland ALS with the hood is the way to go. Add the SLS Sentry if you really want Level 3 type retention, but the hood and ALS lever are, to my mind, Level 2. And fast to use, especially with practice.
