Alright everyone, I've got the location and date set. Saturday, April 29 We'll be meeting here in Columbus, OH then traveling down to some private land west of Chillicothe, OH. Anyone coming from the south is welcome to just meet us there. Basically, we are going to shoot. We will be in a field in a valley, so we have no worries about hitting anything we are not shooting at. The field will most likely be muddy, so bring appropriate clothing and don't bother driving a BMW or something along those lines. I'll be taking my truck and would be happy to load up whatever gear and/or firearms in the back you may have. If the weather looks like it will be bad, I'm going to cancel, there's no point in shooting in the rain. To watch the weather report for the area we will be in, use this link: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USOH0046?from=search_city Now for the fun stuff - Basically, you can bring just about anything you want to shoot. Destructive stuff like morters and bombs and cruise missiles are a bit excessive and should be avoided, but if you happen to have an SMG sitting around, just make sure you bring enough ammo. Also, try to bring something to mount targets to. Some sort of frame or something. We tend to do a lot of clay pigeon shooting, so bring shotguns if you have them, and please be kind enough to grab a box of clays. If everyone pitches in on clays then we should be good for the whole day. If you don't have a shotgun but want to try it out anyway, bring some 12 guage ammo, there's usually some extra shotguns sitting around. We also have room to have a rifle range, and off to the side a pistol range. I can't stress enough that we need stuff to shoot AT, and ways to hold the targets up. If you have an ATV and are willing to bring it, I'll put gas in it if you will allow anyone there to ride it. Basically, bring enough ammo/targets for the whole day. The closest place to buy ammo is Wal Mart, and it's about 20 minutes away. Bring some sort of food to munch on. Bring drinks that will keep you hydrated. Dress accordingly and be prepared for mud. At the end of the day we will probably stop in Chillicothe for something to eat, then whoever is heading back up to Columbus is welcome to hit up some bars with Krott and myself. Now, if you are interested in going, post in this thread and shoot Krott a PM to get directions to our meeting spot. I will want everyone here by 10am so we can roll out at 10:30, people coming up from the south will want to meet us at the actual location at noon.
